Composer, Tar player, Ethnomusicologist, MA and MC graduate in western classical music, winner of the Prime-minister award and the ACUM award for composers. Piris was born in Dagestan (region in the kavkaz mountains), and since his childhood absorbed the depth and complexity of music based on the Maquam- the foundation of Eastern Music. Started composing at a very young age. with his composition teachers counts Alexander Bakshi and Sergiu Natra.

Piris planned and executed many different musical project. His pieces for orchestra , choir and other ensembles were preformed in prestigious festivals in israel and abroad, from israel festivals and the international oud festival to "Trialigo" festival in italy, "Vocalise" in Potesdam etc.

Among the performers of his works counts varied orchestras (such as the israel Chamber orchestra Ramat-gan and the Jerusalem Andalusian Orchestra), and many Singers amongst the opera singer Brcha Kol, the singer Lubna Salma, the pianist and conductor Gil Shohat, the azarian UNESCO prize winner Alim Qasimov and meny diverse choirs.

Piris is one or the founders of the Jerusalem center for eastern music, the class for ethnic music in the Dahan Centre. He also initiated the opening of the classical eastern music department in the academic college "head" (today Kiryat Ono), the class for middle east music in "Sapir" collage. As well Piris was the founder and manager of "Maquamat" school for eastern music in Tzfat.

For years now Piris has been constructing different kinds of original ensembles with wich he performs his works in israel and abroad.
